Grief Therapy in the Hunter Valley
Losing someone you love — or something deeply important to you — can feel overwhelming. Grief touches every part of life, and while no two journeys are the same, you don’t have to walk through it alone.
The pain of loss is real, and while no one can fully know exactly what you are experiencing, there are ways to navigate it with support and care. Over time, research has helped us understand grief more clearly, often describing it as a process that moves through stages: acceptance, managing emotions, finding meaning and purpose, and eventually moving forward. These stages aren’t always linear, but they can provide a helpful framework so you don’t feel lost or stuck in the process.
In grief therapy sessions, I provide a safe and respectful space to help you process your emotions, find meaning, and begin to heal at your own pace. Sessions are tailored to your personal needs and beliefs — whether you draw strength from faith, or prefer a non-religious approach. Both Christians and non-Christians are equally welcome.
Healing from grief doesn’t mean forgetting. It means learning how to carry love and memory forward, while also finding a way to keep living fully. I’d be honoured to walk alongside you as you take those steps.
